Confederate Rose

Confederate Rose or Changeable Rose or Cotton Rose - Hibiscus mutabilis.

In Bengali -  STHALPADMA or স্থলপদ্ম (Land-Lotus).

Cotton Rose - Hibiscus mutabilis

'Mutabilis' means 'changeable'. The colour of the flowers changes with time. In the morning - it's white, thereafter pink at noon and it becomes red in the evening.

Decoration with Vegetables

These I took at a marriage-party. All are made of vegetables, different kinds.The caterer exhibited their vegetable-decoration. That was a dreamy-lighted area and I had only my mobile phone to capture the shots.
